Suspension ties, Part I: On the bight method

This is a tutorial covering suspension tie-offs using the basic method that utilises the bight. This is recommended for low loadings like limb ties. In this first example, it is demonstrated in its most common usage on an ankle. Various methods of tying of the line are shown. Note how I use my fingers and handle the rope as much as the technical steps as this is just as important. This is the first in a series that I am producing as a dry run for the next in my Japanese Rope Bondage DVD series of tutorials where I will go into the subject more fully. In part II, I will be showing how to place ropes in a typical thigh suspension tie and revealing how a small difference in placement can reduce the load by more than half.
