Interactive suspension tutorial video

Posted on Wed, 20 November 2013

Thanks to Itsplay and Catherine, I have just completed the first in a series of interactive video tutorials. In other words, a videoed teaching session where Nina and I are advising a student carrying out a suspension, rather than merely demonstrating a technique ourselves.

The session was an hour or so but it’s edited down to a very useful 40+ minutes. It was shot guerilla style with one cam on a tripod and the other hand-held by me as Nina & I taught. Don’t expect a highly polished shoot and edit :-) The results are fairly informal and somewhat rough around the edges. This tutorial is not a complete ‘how to guide’ for the total novice, but what you will get is good feedback and suggestions in real life teaching scenario with the sort of mistakes everyone makes when they begin suspension. It is very much supplementary material. You’d do well to study it conjunction with my other videos and articles.

As soon as it has encoded, I’ll be posting it in the New Members Area so It should be available within the next 24 hours.
